The Institute for Defense and Partnership Hospitals

The Institute for Defence and Partnership Hospitals (Instituut samenwerking Defensie en Relatieziekenhuizen, IDR ) coordinates the cooperation between the Armed Forces and the participating civilian hospitals in the Netherlands. The IDR is responsible for the selection, training, and the pre-deployment preparations down to the post deployment responsibilities and care for all the medical specialists who take part in a mission either deployment or exercise within the Netherlands or abroad.
