For over a century, Dräger has been well known for its medical and safety solutions. The name Dräger has become synonymous with respiratory protection and ventilation, as has “Drägermen”, referring to members of mines rescue teams who are equipped with portable respiratory protection devices. Dräger offers a fascinating mix of tradition and innovative solutions which have assured market leadership for the company to this day. The secret to the Lübeck-based company’s success may sound simple but it requires a great deal of commitment – day in, day out: listening to exactly what customers want and developing integrated solutions based on their requirements.
MCIF spoke with Dr Christian Hauer, President Global Marketing, Sales & Service, and Roland Ide, Corporate Account Manager Central Europe, of Dräger’s medical division.
