    Sim Tiki: Military Medical Simulation at the University of Hawaii School of Medicine

    SimTiki Simulation Center is the medical simulation facility at the University of Hawaii John A Burns School of Medicine. The center conducts education and training with high fidelity manikin human patient simulators, partial task trainers, and in virtual reality environments.
    Training for military personnel includes medics, nurses, residents, medical students, respiratory therapists, corpsmen, and physicians. Simulation training is incorporated into a variety of activities, covering topics including hospital medicine, acute resuscitation, combat casualty care, advanced airway training, crisis team training, triage, and traumatic shock management. This article presents details of SimTiki simulation based education and training programs conducted for military personnel.
