Lessons Learned in the Humanitarian Assistance Operation from a General Medical Perspective

During the deployment from 19 Jan until 11 Mar 2005 in Banda Aceh in the North of the Indonesian Island of Sumatra, my mission was to provide medical support to the population in the disaster area of Banda Aceh and to support the local medical personnel in resuming medical care in the destroyed University teaching hospital Zaional Abidin.
