Cooperation between Military and Civilian Organisations

The Defence organisation and the Ministry of Public Health, Welfare and Sport jointly run the Major Incident Hospital as a cooperative arrangement. The hospital, forming part of the Central Military Hospital (CMH) and located in the University
Medical Centre Utrecht (UMC Utrecht), has sufficient facilities to accept large numbers of casualties.
