2008 Annual Asia Pacific Military Medicine Conference

From 14 - 18 April 2008 the 18th APMMC took place in Singapore, Shangri-La Hotel. APMMC is an annual regional forum for military professionals to exchange experiences about the recent challenges of Military Medical Services from Asia-Pacific Region. A wide range of organizational and scientific issues where discussed including Combat Medicine and Trauma, Environmental and Preventive Medicine, Military Psychiatry, Aviation Medicine, Naval & Underwater Medicine and Technological Advances in Combat Casualty Care. Participants took the opportunity to exchange ideas, how to provide the best health care under the conditiions of peacekeeping and crisies missions.
